HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR SENSE OF STYLE?

Everything my mother taught me. I credit my mom for how I carry myself. She always had me dressed fresh and most importantly, clean. So I just kept up what she started. I learned how to iron my clothes from her, which makes all the difference before you step out. Apart from that I think I have an eye for beauty. I believe I can step in any store and pick out the best looking piece just off my instinct, my eye, my taste. I have a great sense of color coordination. And I usually just visualize what I am going to wear before I get dressed or buy something. Also, a sense of knowing how to dress for the appropriate occasion. But it's all based on a good eye.

WHAT PIECE OF CLOTHING/ACCESSORIES DO YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THE MOST? WHY?

Tricky question there. Awww! I would say shoes which includes sneakers. Because I don't like wearing shoes that everybody else has. I like searching for the next new hot brand in shoes. And once I like a brand I stick with them 'till the next. Being unique. You stand out more. I think a lot of people buy sneakers they see other people are wearing or because it's popular. I buy what my eye is attracted to first because I trust my own taste. Then people want what you wearing because they never seen no one with it. That's how you become a trendsetter. Am also a smart shopper as I have sources for getting exclusive stuff cheaper than store prices. And I believe you do not have to spend a fortune to look good. It's not really about the name brand (which I do love) but more the look, the fit, and accessorizing the look, which can turn an OK outfit into a great outfit. Jewelry is very important also. On any day the shirt or set can cost more than the shoes. I think for men creating a look usually starts with the shirt or jacket. Once you got that you can start matching.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU GET DRESSED UP? WHY?

That would have to be New York Fashion Week, or was it a date lol. On a regular day people usually think I am dressed up but I don't think so. Always being neat and clean is kool. But some occasions just calls for "the touch." And when you step out people know the difference. Everything is shining, everything is spic and span, everything is spiffy. That's that moment. I love to get it to the point where I feel spiffy. And most importantly that includes a trip to my barber, Booker, 'cause my hairstyle is so unique and it has to be sharp for a dress-up day or I won't feel right. The why is because you have to make your statement, you have to stand out. You have to express yourself visually, because it's the first thing people see. You have to look your best.

Let's have some fun!!
